The "End of the World"

What would you do if the apocalypse came? Would you fight to survive, try harder to acheive your dreams before you died, or give up on life?
If the world were to come under one ruler, such as the hypothetical Anti-christ, or a group of dictators, what would you do? Would you choose to disappear, fight back, or give in?

Not at all would I give in. I would stick to what I believe in all the way thru! Even if its to my death! Of course I think many would fight for survival as I would but when its our time its just our time! Having faith in what you belive will get you out of the most impossible and difficult situations! :-) Great post! Really gets people thinking :-)
I would like to say that i wouldn’t have a need to change. That every day i live life to the fullest. I think in truth I would be in a rush to fulfill life long dreams and to help others fulfill theirs. I know that putting yourself second in certain situations is a good thing but i have a habit of letting others hold me back.
I never gave thought to the end of the world because I know that it will happen when it happens. I cannot stop judgment day whether by asteroid, all of hell breaking loose upon the world, or by my own death. Now that I am thinking of it i know that all i can do is my best with the time i have to realize my desires and achieve happiness…
If the world were to fall under an evil ruler.. that is morally dependent. Everyone has their own view of evil. If the ruler were evil in my eyes i would do everything in my power to protect those around me. I know myself enough to know that i do not have the strength nor or the will to harm another person. Evil or not. Physically or otherwise.
Politically on the other hand i would do my part in making sure the man/woman was removed from power. Those that seek power do not deserve it in my eyes, whatever their motivation. So instead of trying to steal his power from him *making him harmless while corrupting myself* I would just attempt to remove him and let the people decide who is deserving.
Thank you for this post. I really learned a lot about myself from it.
I’d take another hit…. of fresh air.
you ever seen the mummy? When the guy is about to be eaten by the big scary mummy he starts grabbing different symbols of faith until he got one that worked?
That’s a really funny part of the movie because people can relate to it.
I can remember many sermons related to this very question (I was baptized out of fear of hell fire at the age of 12) But now I see it in a different light. I see that specific choice changed my life but I also see other choices have had just as dramatic affects – All through out my school years I found people who had made similar choices in my circle of friends. During the years that I was depressed I found other depressed people to hang out with. The law of attraction was working for me long before I knew what it was. What If I had not made that choice? I can clearly see it was not the faith but rather the choice that matters. You have a great power within you. The power of choice.
You can choose to look at everything in the light of desperation or inspiration. You can choose to be happy or sad. You can choose to live in the moment or to dwell in the past.
